group of Pelican Strand ladies have been inspired by the Kindness Rocks movement to promote kindness by painting rocks.  In  mid-July, we began painting inspirational, artistic and fun rocks and hiding them in plain sight throughout Pelican Strand and the Community & Welcome Centers.  For the person who finds a rock, this simple rock can brighten their day, make them laugh and bring a smile to their face.  They can keep the rock, or pay it forward by hiding it for someone else to find to brighten their day.   We have a FaceBook page, Pelican Strand Rocks, where you can post a picture of the rock you found.
